A new era of regional startups has begun

With the support of our company, the team of Digital Den Hub made sure that the previous few months were very dynamic for the startup community in Montenegro and the region and, for many, an essential period since its establishment.
During February, ten regional startups had the opportunity to present their ideas to the American public and investors in four cities: Phoenix, Denver, Portland, and New York.
In Phoenix, the first city we visited, our team had meetings with local technology and innovation leaders such as the Arizona Technology Council, Skysong Innovations, and GPEC. All this was made possible in cooperation with Arizona State University, whose representatives earned an effort to network us with significant people and create an incredible collaboration and mutual support environment.
The next city was Denver, where teams in collaboration with the Denver Economic Development and Opportunity (DEDO), their founder, director, and managers, brought together our members with several successful companies and organizations located in that city. After presentations from various research institutes and universities and meetings with owners of successful startups, we did a pitching session with the Rockies Venture Club and their CEO, Peter Adams. Again, everyone received advice, constructive criticism, and various offers for cooperation.
In Maine, again in cooperation with our partners, we met with numerous representatives of law firms and experts in economic development, from whom our members learned a lot and gained insight into the good sides of incorporation and business registration in America and Maine. Then, after a lecture by representatives of universities and research centers, another session was organized to present ideas to investors, where our members, using advice from previous sessions, once again shone in front of the audience.
The last stop was New York, where, in addition to meetings and making important contacts, the teams had time to get to know and explore this fascinating city that is hard to describe in a few words, but if they had to, it would be Robbie Williams' verse - "So rock & roll, so corporate suit."
We returned to Montenegro with new invaluable experience, contacts, and knowledge. But, of course, although it was focused on business, investments, and innovations this time, there was still time for fun and exploring cities.
What further motivates all the teams is that we felt the charm of the "American dream," at least for a moment.
Therefore, we continue to work on realizing new opportunities, new contacts, and new ideas, and we hope to have many more such experiences and to succeed in connecting the two continents in the world of business and in inheriting the same values and cooperation in other spheres.
Amplitudo recognizes the importance at this step and moment in the history of the Montenegrin startup community and provides evidence that ideas transcend the boundaries of states, expectations, and possibilities.
